WildCare had a terrific turnout for our April 20th Walk with WildCare!  We had people of all ages join us -  Some who were new to WildCare and some that have been members of WildCare for many years.

With Doug McConnell in the lead and Juan-Carlos Solis helping spot and identify wild life, we were able to see a wide variety of animals from a river otter to a bald eagle!  A great time was had by all!

A special thanks to Doug McConnell for leading us and sharing his wonderful insight, knowledge and stories!
Thank you also to Woodlands Market for sponsoring our delicious lunches!

Mark your calendars for our next Walk with WildCare coming up on July 20th at McInnis Park in San Rafael – details to come!

Special guest Doug McConnell of Bay Area Backroads led Walk participants around the Lake.
Stopping for bird-watching meant a chance to rest, and to see a Bald Eagle!

WildCare's Director of Education, Juan-Carlos Solis helped Walkers of all ages use a spotting scope to view nature close-up.   That's a taxidermy cormorant! WildCare Naturalists staffed stations around the Lake with taxidermy specimens and other hands-on teaching tools.
