WildCare's Baby Bird Nest Campaign is finished for the year

Nearly 400 knitters answered WildCare's call for nests to save baby birds

WildCare's Baby Bird Nest Campaign was a resounding success! With over 3,000 nests received and over 1,200 orphaned baby birds raised, this year's Baby Bird Season has been one of our best ever!

The Campaign is over for this year. Any nests we receive after August 31, 2014 will be stored for next year's baby season.

Thank you to all our wonderful knitters and crocheters for the work you did to help raise healthy baby birds!

Click to learn more about the campaign, download the knitting and crochet patterns and see the news coverage the campaign has gotten on NBC Nightly News, the San Francisco Chronicle and other media!

Wildlife Hospital and WildCare Solutions service

WildCare’s wildlife hospital treats more than 3,000 sick, injured, and orphaned wild-animal patients every year. Our goal? To nurse them all back to health so they can be returned safely to their natural habitats.

Our WildCare Solutions service offers a humane solution to nuisance animal problems by providing home inspections, repairs, animal removal and more.
